This is an original 1967 Pontiac GTO/Lemans speedometer gauge cluster. It has been rebuilt and restored here in our workshop. The speedometer was tested and reset to zero. The fuel gauge was also bench tested. Both the numbers and letters are bright and clear. There is no rust, as each piece was stripped to bare metal and refinished with the correct colors. Techno group Daft Punk's Ferrari 412 being auctioned for Japan fundraiser
Tue, 05 Apr 2011Here's a car that will appeal to Ferrari fans and techno fans--the 1987 Ferrari 412 shown at the start of the 2007 movie Daft Punk's Electroma. The Ferrari is one of several musician-related items being auctioned off by EMI Group as a fundraiser for disaster-relief efforts in Japan. The car is in mint condition, still wears the HUMAN license plate as seen in the movie, and it has been signed by Daft Punk members Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.

Maeda named new Mazda design boss, replacing van den Acker
Wed, 01 Apr 2009Ikuo Maeda is the new head of design at Mazda Motor Corp. The man who is credited with styling the Mazda's flagship sports car takes over for Dutchman Laurens van den Acker, 43, who has decided to leave the company "to pursue other interests," the automaker said in a statement today. Van den Acker, who joined Mazda in 2006, will remain at the automaker until April 10 to ensure a smooth transition for Maeda, Mazda said.
