Up for auction is one 1971 through 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado Part Number Service Guide with illustrations and OEM part numbers. This 9 (nine) page manual was published by Mitchell Manuals in 1975, and is in a loose leaf format that can be installed in a binder. This manual was originally used by dealership body shops to estimate repair costs/damage on 1971 through 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado vehicles, but is now a valuable source of information for looking up OEM factory part numbers that are discontinued or no longer available. The manual includes information for sheet metal, trim, steering, suspension, AC, cooling, exhaust, and other body mechanical parts. This is an original Mitchell service manual, not a reprint. This manual is used, but is in good used condition. There are scuffs, dirt marks, dog eared pages, and normal wear from use, but the manual is in overall good condition.

Frankfurt 2011: 2012 Honda Civic

Wed, 14 Sep 2011

2012 Honda Civic revealed at Frankfurt 2011 We had quite a tease from Honda on the 2012 Civic in the run-up to Frankfurt, but at least it was a tease with substance, rather than just pointless shots of bits of a new car. Honda made the effort to divvy up ‘official’ spy shots and to put together some talking head videos which, although a little dry, were at least informative. So it’s nice to see the real deal 2012 Civic at Frankfurt, even if it is very much an evolutionary refresh for 2012, rather than anything too drastic in styling terms.

Suzuki Cervo

Thu, 09 Nov 2006

Suzuki is a relatively low-key brand without the variety of models nor media exposure afforded by rivals, so it might be surprising to learn that over the past fifty years they have not had an annual loss, while their growth rate in Europe since 2000 is on a par with Toyota's. With sales figures now snapping at the heels of Renault, Suzuki has just launched the Cervo, a new car for the K-class segment in Japan. The Suzuki Cervo follows the popular Grand Vitara and award-winning Swift, and has also been dubbed stylish and sporty.

GM considers CVTs for small cars

Mon, 29 Nov 2010

General Motors Co., aiming to give its small cars a sales edge, may introduce continuously variable transmissions to deliver better fuel economy, executives say. GM doesn't use CVTs now. But they could be used on models such as the Chevrolet Spark, Aveo and Cruze in the next three years, said Mike Arcamone, CEO of GM Daewoo Auto & Technology.
