Up for auction at no reserve is a used fiberglass rear tailpiece recently removed from a 1981 Yamaha SR 500. It also fits the 1976-1981 Yamaha 500 TT/ XT models with modifications. Commonly found on Yamaha 650's. The Trackmaster style tailpiece is in very good condition with the only negative being being two small holes on each side for mounting number plates. The paintwork is the traditional Kenny Roberts Yellow/Black checkered pattern and is very good. There are no stress cracks or breaks. The seat and cover are excellent with no tears or rips. It has been cleaned and conditioned! The matching fiberglass fuel/gas tank is in another auction. Great for replacement, cafe, or racing. They’ve not only remained profitable but they’ve managed to bring to market a new car – the Lotus Evora – which has not only been pretty well universally praised but has a full order book to boot. Clever trick.
VW releases sketch of U.S.-made sedan
Wed, 28 Oct 2009Volkswagen of America has released a sketch of its new mid-size sedan that will go on sale in the fall of 2011 as a 2012 model-year car. The factory currently being built by VW in Chattanooga, Tenn., will start producing cars in the spring of 2011. Sales of the mid-size sedan will be at least 100,000 units annually at full capacity.
