1977 Maico  AW 250 MX engine complete motor

Rare opportunity to buy such a nice motor complete like this.

Includes 36mm Bing carb (for Maico), original Motoplat ignition, intake manifold, kicker, & shifter

This is the M321 prefix close-ratio 5-speed motocross engine

This motor is said to have been running beautifully prior to it's removal. Previous owner's son-in-law removed it so he could convert the bike into a hill climb machine but never did. Transmission seems to shift freely up and down.

No cracks noted in any of the engine cases. Dome of cylinder is very clean with no broken ring marks or damage of any kind.

Use ebay's zoom feature and look at photos closely please.

Shipping is set at $125.00 in lower 48 USA. AK, HI, and international will be higher.

Drink-and-drive deaths down in 2007

According to the data the number of fatal accidents dropped by 16 percent from 2006 to 2007 (from 490 to 410), while the number of deaths in these accidents fell 18 percent (down to 460 in 2007 from 650 in 2006). But while the number of deaths is going down, hospitals are still being kept busy as drink-drive casualties rose from 11,840 in 2006 to 12,260 in 2007, a jump of four percent.

Koenigsegg teases Agera One:1 hypercar with 1,340hp

Koenigsegg has released the first official image of its new Agera One:1 hypercar, set to make its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. Based on the Swedish firm’s Agera R model, the One:1 concept produces a whopping 1,340hp and weighs 1,340kg, meaning the car has a power-to-weight ratio of 1,000hp per tonne. That’s a lot.

Subaru XV and Coupe 'to double UK sales'

Subaru will launch a trio of new models in the next year to shore up flagging UK sales. The new XV and new sports car will expand the UK Subaru range by 50% and put the malnourished brand back on the map, the UK's managing director told CAR. The new Subaru XV is a Nissan Qashqai rival and will change little from the concept car shown at the 2011 Shanghai auto show.
