***FOR SALE AS IS FOR PARTS ONLY*** The engine started showing signs of antifreeze leak into the oil via the manifold gasket and was taken out of service in favor of a new engine. The engine was then dismantled and these are the parts. All parts appear to be fully useable but please use your own discretions - these are used internal engine parts and no returns will be accepted nor refunds issued. We are not engine people and may not know the signs to look for. However the engine was quiet and the the antifreeze had just started seeping and was not a wide open leak. It also points to the new Eclipse, which could come to Europe next time round. The sports car is one of the best-looking concepts shown by Mitsubishi for ages, its bright red paintwork contrasted by matt black finish on certain functional body parts, including the top of the engine which actually forms part of the bonnet.
Trouble at Bertone
Mon, 25 Feb 2008It was hoped that Bertone would be exhibiting its latest concept, the B.A.T.11, in Geneva this year, a design inspired by the B.A.T.5., B.A.T.7 and B.A.T.9 concepts developed between 1953 and 1955. The car is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. But after receiving a release from Stile Bertone announcing the prototype on February 13, the company's communications department sent through another email stating that it would not, in fact, be attending the show this year.
