Tue, 18 Jun 2013Nick Hart and his Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake Getting a menswear specialist to makeover a high end car isn’t the most obvious route to go, but Mercedes say Savile Row’s Spencer Hart shares a creative ethos with the three pointed star, so it’s a natural fit. And actually, Spencer Hart’s creative Director, Nick Hart, has done his brand – and Mercedes’ – absolutely no harm with an appealing makeover of the Mercedes shed on steroids that is the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake. The Spencer Hart CLS gets a specially created colour - Nick Hart Midnight Blue – and instead of chrome highlights on the exterior Nick has subtle, dark shades instead.

The Touareg has been a solid global success for Volkswagen with over 720,000 units sold, despite all the ink expended discussing its pricing (especially compared to the rest of the automaker's range), and the company has spent quite a bit of time and money updating the Touareg for the 2015 model year. Lotus news at 2009 Tokyo motor show
Thu, 22 Oct 2009Lotus was one of only three foreign manufacturers to exhibit at the 2009 Tokyo show, and as well as shouting about the success of the Evora (including a mention of it scooping CAR's PCoTY title), the company unveiled a special-edition Exige. Called the Exige Stealth is Japan – and the ugly-sounding Scura throughout the rest of the world – it's black all over. There's matt black paint, lots of carbonfibre bits and pieces, and the supercharged Toyota engine pushing out 257bhp.
