I've shipped a LOT of packages a.........but sometimes the post office or other shippers go above and beyond my wildest expectations and manage to damage a package in spite of my careful packing. Please know that with the exception of international first class (see below) all of my packages are insured. Please do not report a damaged item as "not as described" to eBay. That is for when someone it doing the old bait and switch or missed a flaw and you feel they are trying to rip you off. This process requires you to return the item to the buyer. A damage claim is totally different and most of the time can be dealt with locally. So just let me know if your item suffered any mistreatment along its journey and I will be sure to make it right for you. Must ship to a confirmed PayPal address. NO RESERVE! SHIPPING INFO: ( I offer several choices for shipping on my auctions so be sure you pick what way you want your item shipped when you pay the invoice) Actual cost only NO HANDLING FEES. If the shipping calculator is coming up with a crazy shipping please email me for the REAL rates :-) Sometimes it goes NUTS.... If you want it shipped some other way I charge actual shipping cost so just let me know and I’ll get you the rates :-) If you would like me to check other shipping options email me with your zip code AND STATE or country name and I will get you a shipping quote. If you opt for ground shipping I reserve the right to switch between UPS and Fed Ex Home or USPS. You can pay for cheapest but one might work better for me so I'll ship that way. If you need it to go with a particular carrier just let me know. **If you are an international buyer and you opt for First Class shipping you must assume the risk for loss or damage once the post office has your item. I cannot insure First Class. If you do not want to assume the risk you must chose Priority or Express mail for your shipping option.** Email with any questions, always happy to reply. Local pick up is always an option. We are right on Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers. Thanks for looking. International bidders welcome! Please contact me if you have any problem. I am always happy to work with my buyers. If an item is damaged in shipping I will get right on filing an insurance claim. I provide lots of photos so you can see what you will be getting before you buy. Please check my feedback and you will see I am easy to work with. If you feel that you cannot leave 5 star feedback for any reason, please contact us so we may resolve the situation prior to feedback being left.

Autoweek's guide to Chicago Auto Show hospitality

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Note:In preparation for the Chicago Auto Show, we asked Windy City hospitality industry insider Erik Nelson where to stay, drink and eat. Here's what he said: Where to eat: Publican: thepublicanrestaurant.com 837 W Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607 (312) 733-9555 This staple in the Fulton Market district of Chicago offers the “holy trinity” of pork, oysters and beer. Publican has a bustling feel of an upscale public house with communal tables and many sharable plates.

Who killed Pontiac? Ask Bob Lutz

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Bob Lutz is not a man who can be contained within 140 characters. This past weekend he spoke at the Petersen as part of the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, hosted by friend of Autoweek George Notaras (past events have been with Ralph Gilles and Derek Jenkins). Lutz talked at length about his childhood in Switzerland, early memories working for Ford and Chrysler, the time he swayed BMW management away from building Mercedes-like luxoboats, and what Lee Iacocca was really like behind closed doors.

Aston Martin Virage: The Video

Tue, 22 Mar 2011

Aston Martin Virage Video It’s easy to make fun of the Aston Martin Virage. Easy because, at first glance, it looks like a purely cynical move to pitch a car half way between the Grand Tourer DB9 and the more driver-focused DBS. And it is.
