Who’s Where: Andreas Deufel, Design Director, Great Wall Motors

Since the start of the year, Andreas Deufel has officially been Director of Design at Great Wall Motors (GWM) in China. In his role, he is responsible for GWM's three design studios, all in Bao Ding, yet he still maintains his position as Design Director at TJ Innova Auto and Design & Engineering (TJI), where he is also responsible for three studios. Deufel's appointment to the position as Design Director at GWM was anything but conventional.

That feeling was more than affirmed a couple of weeks ago when Aston Martin released a few official pictures of the Cygnet and gave us some production targets – 2000 a year in Europe. UK 2010 car sales analysis: winners and losers

The new car sales figures for 2010 were announced today, revealing the winners and losers in the UK's new car showrooms. Perhaps surprisingly, with the ending of the scrappage scheme in March 2010, new car registrations in Britain ended up 1.8% on 2009. That was a total of 2,030,846 cars sold as new.
