Motor pulled from my personal GP sport ski. Hull did not ride as expected.
60 hours on crankshaft, was trued and welded at 57 hours with a magnum SKF front and rear bearings. Genuine yamaha crankseals have 3 hours on them, top end has 3 hours on it. Pro-x pistons. Milled 0.010 off head and running 2 layers of head gasket. 155 psi of compression on all 3 cylinders. nikasil is perfect, two cylinders have 3 hours each, one cylinder has 60 hours on it. Why Ford’s Euro design is changing: Joel Piaskowski replaces Martin Smith

Smith, 64, has led Ford of Europe’s design team for a decade and is the father of the brand’s edgy ‘kinetic design’, but will step down on 1 July 2014, it was announced this afternoon. Before he retires fully at the end of the year Smith will work with the Blue Oval’s vice president of design, Moray Callum, on a global project looking at the future of Ford design.

AA warns of automated penalties
Thu, 03 Oct 2013DRIVERS are still suffering a year on from the time most wheelclampers were banned from operating in private car parks, according to the AA. Twelve months on, parking enforcement firms are reaping large sums from issuing automated "penalty" tickets. The AA said that while Communities Minister Eric Pickles is reining in local authorities who over-zealously use CCTV, private parking operators now rely heavily on this technology and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) to watch drivers and issue tickets through the post when they put a foot wrong in parking areas.
