IFR Aspid – simply astonishing

The IFR Aspid drew a lot of attention at this year's Salon Prive Not the best known name in the motoring world, IFR – and it’s main man, Ignacio Fernández – are never the less a force to be reckoned with, and we’re pretty sure we’ll be hearing a whole lot more from them before too long. Citroen C-Zero debuts

Citroen has revealed its electric City Car - the Citroen C-Zero That Mitsubishi M-iEV certainly gets around. Apart from Mitsubishi’s own version we’ve already had Peugeot’s iON version of the M-iEV electric car and now we get the Citroen C-Zero. The C-Zero is scheduled to go in to production at the end of 2010 and is another piece in the Citroen puzzle to get its CO2 emissions down across the range.

Ford Fiesta ST Concept Just as we expected, Ford has revealed a properly hot Fiesta to take on the new wave of superminis – like the Polo GTI – and is offering up the Fiesta ST with a 1.6 litre EcoBoost lump which will deliver 178bhp. This is Ford cashing-in on its Fiesta WRC programme to price a proper little hot Fiesta, and in the process turning its back on the misjudged decision to play down performance Fords in our eco-obsessed world. Good.
