Goodwood Revival marks its ten year anniversary

By Nick Eaton Motor Shows 09 September 2008 10:00 This month the grounds at Goodwood will once again play host to what has become the world’s largest historic motor racing festival. The Goodwood Revival will take place on 19-21 September - exactly ten years since it was first held, and sixty years since the legendary Goodwood circuit was opened. The event is an effort to relive the post-WW2 spirit of motor racing as it was between 1948 and 1966.

2013 Astra Cabrio caught on video

We have video of the 2013 Opel / Vauxhall Astra Cabriolet on video ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show. We’re guessing that even though the 2013 Astra Cabriolet (which will arrive as both the Vauxhall and Opel Cabrio) is due to debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, it won’t be in showrooms until the spring – just in time for another miserable summer. Ahead of that debut, GM Europe are out at the Nurburgring making sure their new soft-top doesn’t wibble wobble too much, resulting in the spy video below.

New 2013 Bentley Continental Flying Spur arrives early

The new Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed has arrived early, ahead of a reveal at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Just as we hoped, Bentley had made the new Flying Spur more visually appealing with a look that shows echoes not just of the latest Continental GT but of the range-topping Mulsanne too. The redesign of the exterior brings a more focused, sharper look to Bentley’s Flying Spur and addresses about the only real moan we had of the old Flying Spur – the shape of the rear end.
