Abarth Fiat 500 Convertible confirmed. Punto Abarth coming?

It looks like plans for an Abarth version of the 500C for 2010 are confrmed But a successful model is always going to spawn whatever variants a car maker can viably muster, so our report in July that we will see an Abarth version of the 500C in Spring 2010 – probably at the Geneva Motor Show – now seem to have been confirmed as ‘jokeforblog’ has published pictures of what seems to be a road-ready Abarth Convertible at Abarth’s facility. Skoda CITIGO launches with Stonehenge replica in London

The Skoda CitiGo – the Skoda version of the VW up! – launches this week in the UK with a replica Stonehenge made of scrap cars. It’s hard to come up with an original way of launching a new product, but Skoda have made a decent bash of it for the UK launch of the Skoda CitiGo – the Skoda version of the VW up!

This is the new Skoda Rapid Spaceback that’s basically an estate version of the Rapid hatchback that was launched in the UK last year. Skoda wants its miniature Audi A3 Sportback-lookalike to appeal to young buyers and trendy youthful families when the car goes on sale this October, and it shouldn’t cost much more than the regular Rapid, which starts at £12,905.
