This is a cast iron oil pan from a 1956 marine Hemi engine. It is in excellent shape and comes with the oil dip stick tube. The dip stick is missing Casting # is E-2763-M-1 with a date code of 1-17-56 I also have the bare block, no crank or main caps, very nice shape, never bored, and bare heads I will sell for $250. |

Toyota fails to land 'top safety pick' rating in insurance-group study
Wed, 18 Nov 2009For the first time in three years, none of Toyota Motor Corp.'s vehicles received “top safety pick” ratings from an insurance group, as tougher criteria pared the number of selections from 94 last year to 27 this year. Ford Motor Co. led all automakers for the second year in a row with six 2010-model top safety picks from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, including four from Volvo, a brand that's being sold.

TVR goes off the rails

Blackpool Automotive Ltd, TVR's manufacturing arm, has stopped building cars at the Blackpool HQ, its home since 1947. Around 250 members of staff stayed at home this week, waiting to discover their fate.
