Wed, 04 Apr 2012Fisker Atlantic official The Fisker Atlantic – a smaller range extender car from Fisker – has been officially revealed on the eve of the New York Auto Show. We had the leaked photos of the new Fisker Atlantic a few days ago – a car we’d known as ‘Project Nina until now – but now we have the real deal from Fisker on the Atlantic as the New York Auto Show gets ready to strut its stuff. And we don’t really know any more about Fisker’s new baby than we did before.
BMW and Pininfarina to show Gran Lusso Coupé concept at Villa d'Este
Wed, 15 May 2013BMW and Pininfarina have collaborated on a concept car – the Gran Lusso Coupé – for the 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. Previewed in these teaser images, the gloriously glamorous-sounding Gran Lusso (lusso being Italian for ‘luxury') appears to fuse BMW iconography – the front fender vent, Hofmeister kink DLO and horizontal rear lamp treatment – with a little more Latin flair with a rocker that flicks up the rear lamp and joins the shoulder line. The full-width rear lamps also promise to be suitably exotic.

Wed, 25 Jan 2012The Chevrolet Code 130R Concept is one of a pair of concept cars designed as a direct result of feedback from Millennials – a demographic which car companies are desperate to engage with the automobile. The Code 130R is a four-seat coupe with a classically European proportion and size and more than a passing resemblance to the BMW 1 Series coupe. The car's muscular fenders, short front overhang and power-bulged hood provide reference to the classic muscle car era that engaged the youth of the 1960s and '70s.
