Up for auction is a rear package tray from a 77 Nova. It is in EXCELLENT condition, no warping or separation. The speaker grilles do not have any cracks in them. The corners are still firm. There is some tar around the corners that GM used for rattle control I think, will not be seen once installed. No cracks to be found. No mold, rot or water stains underneath, just dust. Original paint, never been repainted yet. Has some fading to the paint, leave it as is with a nice original patina or repaint to your color. I have the original defogger that went with this which I am going to try and get on another auction shortly. Shipping will be fixed at $79.00 anywhere in the continental US. I do not ship to AK, HI, PR or P.O. boxes, sorry. I can combine the shipping with my other auctions if the parts can safely go together. Mitsubishi Scrappage – now on 5 year old cars
Wed, 27 May 2009Mitsubishi are now offering the Scrappage allowance on cars from 5 years old [ad#ad-1] Despite our reservations about the Scrappage scheme in the UK, it would seem that it is proving to be a good handle to hang sales publicity on for car makers. Hyundai have told us about their successes and the interesting trade-ins they’ve had on cars sold under the Scrappage scheme, and we reported recently on two guys buying Nissan GT-Rs with the Scrappage allowance. And now Mitsubishi are using the Scrappage scheme to promote new car sales.
Kia to launch a new range-topping V8 saloon dubbed K9
Tue, 22 Mar 2011Kia will build their rumoured rear-wheel drive V8 saloon - but it won't come to the UK, sources in Korea have confirmed to CAR.Following the domestic badge hierarchy, this new range-topper would logically be called the K9. Perhaps that dog-inspired badge may explain why the car won’t come to Europe, but US sales are expected. Kia’s new range-topper: the ‘K9’ The new large Kia saloon was scheduled to be shown in 2011, but it has now been pushed back to a 2012 launch. The new saloon would sit above the front-drive 3.5-litre V6 K7/Cadenza saloon in the Kia line-up. CAR understands the new exec will be ready by May 2012. The K9 represents the first application of sister brand Hyundai's rear-drive technology from the Genesis and Equus. Expect Hyundai's 'Tau' V8 engine under the bonnet, along with the upcoming eight-speed automatic transmission which arrived in the Genesis R-Spec saloon at the 2011 Chicago auto show.
