8" Slip Yoke

Longer slip yokes help compensate for extreme travel rear suspension set-ups or driveshaft lengths slightly shorter than needed. Yoke is grooved for "external" snap rings to retain U-joint cups. Works with 1310 series U-joints.

Fits over the output shaft of the following transmissions:

  • Bert, Brinn, Winters, Falcon, Race Gator
  • Common GM/Saginaw 3 & 4 speed transmissions with a 1-3/16" x 27 spline output shaft
  • Powerglide, T-350, 700R-4, 200R-4, and 4L60 automatic transmissions
  • Muncie M20/M21 and Borg Warner T-5, T-10 & T-56 27-spline manual transmissions

    Notes:
The expressed measurement or length of the slip yoke is taken from the center of the u-joint to tip, not overall. This front driveshaft slip yoke measures 8" from the centerline of the u-joint to the front edge. Length of machined part of yoke is 6".
    Item Details:
    For 3-7/32" X 1-1/16" u-joints

Make sure the yoke pushes all the way into your transmission before using. If it does not you will have to have your transmission output shaft turned down. This normally only occurs in older Saginaw transmissions.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato: First production car photos

    Sat, 04 Feb 2012

Ahead of a debut in Kuwait in two weeks, we have the first official photos – interior and exterior – of the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato.  So far we’ve had just one outside picture of the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, and we know that it will make its production debut at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance on 15th February. But now we’ve got more pictures. Aston Martin has quietly published a PDF on the V12 Zagato (link to Aston Martin V12 Zagato PDF) which gives us some of the history behind the development of the V12 Zagato, tells us how it’s made (with craftsmen and hammers) and, for the first time, gives us a look at bothy the inside and outside of the new Zagato.
