Land Rover has built them both to gauge public interest and decide in which direction the next Defender – due in 2015 – should be engineered.

We always liked the Peugeot 107 and its ability to look better than its Citroen and Toyota siblings, be nippy and frugal around town and small enough to park almost anywhere. And although the new Peugeot 108 looks more grown-up, it does seem to promise what the 107 delivered but in a more sophisticated package.
