This Silver Bullet throttle body spacer produced 10hp and 14lbs. x ft. of torque by creating turbulence in the air flow at the point just prior entry into the engine. Silver Bullet throttle body spacers are constructed out of durable T-6061 billet aluminum and using a unique serrated/helix entry to create turbulence at the manifold while eliminating the annoying whistle found in other helix only throttle spacers. Golf Mk 6 bows out with new VW Golf R Cabriolet
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Volkswagen is finally delivering the VW Golf R Cabriolet Mk 6, just as the Golf Mk 7 hits the road, but it does without 4WD. But it’s taken until now – 2013 and after the Mk 7 Golf arrived – for VW to fulfil the promise of more powerful open-top motoring in the Golf with the arrival – following a Golf R Cabrio tease video at the end of 2012 – to finally reveal it. Just as you’d expect, the Golf R Cabriolet is mechanically similar to the Golf R in that it gets the same 2.0 litre turbo four cylinder petrol engine that delivers its power through a six-speed dual-clutch auto box.

[ad#ad-1] The whole ‘Green’ thing is now finding its way in to mainstream commercial vehicles (which is a very good place for it to be), and that move is now given huge impetus by Ford, with their announcement today that they are launching ECOnetic versions of both the Transit and the Fiesta Van. We wrote about the Fiesta Van a while ago when Ford announced the Fiesta SportVan, and said then what a great little van it was.

Wed, 24 Feb 2010The 2010 versions of the Skoda Fabia and Skoda Roomster will be at Geneva Skoda are taking the term ‘Facelift’ quite literally with the 2010 Skoda Fabia (and 2010 Skoda Fabia Estate) and the 2010 Skoda Roomster. They’ve grafted on a new nose for both in a facelift for the models which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Skoda say that the new nose “…accentuates the cars’ width, with a totally redesigned face that gives both cars a more dynamic look, increasing their road presence.” So there.
