Volvo V60 Polestar: OFFICIAL
Tue, 26 Nov 2013Volvo V60 Polestar: OFFICIAL Volvo has been busy teasing a new Polestar model recently, and we concluded it would be a fast Volvo estate in the guise of a production Volvo V60 Polestar. And that’s exactly what it is. Tue, 20 May 2014A CLEAN CAR makes us feel happier and three out of four drivers say a spotless car makes them feel better about themselves. In a survey by car wash specialists IMO, 74% of drivers reported a shiny car was a quick way to make themselves happier, while only a minority said they would ‘rather boil their head’ than get their car washed. Young drivers are the most likely to improve their mood with a car wash, with 85% saying a shiny car gives them a boost.
Brits would rather drive than walk
Wed, 25 Jun 2014ALMOST HALF (47%) of all people in the UK would rather drive than walk for a journey of up to one mile and 48% drive to work instead of trying to use any other form of transport. Despite a one mile journey taking very little more time to walk than drive, only 38% of drivers said they would use their feet in place of the car for such short journeys. Even though short journeys cause the most pollution and damage to cars, half said they would still drive.
