[ad#ad-1] The whole ‘Green’ thing is now finding its way in to mainstream commercial vehicles (which is a very good place for it to be), and that move is now given huge impetus by Ford, with their announcement today that they are launching ECOnetic versions of both the Transit and the Fiesta Van. No successor to the NSX is under development, but there will be a smaller city car slotting under the Jazz in Honda's range. It will be launched in Asia at first, potentially following in the rest of the world.Ito, who is also president of Honda R&D, said that the company had no firm plans for a pure battery electric vehicle at this stage – the onus is on hybrid petrol electric cars and fuel-cell models.It will continue to develop diesels for Europe, but Ito admitted a project to build clean-fuel diesels for the US market had been cancelled.

Qoros The second car to be built by the fledgling Qoros car maker will be revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Chinese firm announced today. These new pictures are the first sight of the new model, which will go on sale in China in 2014. Although only these two shadowy teaser images have been published, they appear to show a bigger family car, perhaps an SUV.
