Jaguar: 0-75 years in under 4 minutes

Jaguar are celebrating their 75th Anniversary in 2010 If Jaguar had reached the milestone of 75 years of car making even five years ago, playing the ‘History’ card would have been a dangerous game. The perception then was that Jaguar were living on former glories and their cars were stuck in the past. After all, the XJ looked to many as if it had changed little in almost forty years (although it was very comtemporary under the skin) and the S-Type looked even older.

Infiniti Q50 channels its inner Formula One

The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept bowed at the Detroit auto show on Monday. This is the same F1-Spa-Francorchamps-inspired sedan that the company teased early in December. It's purely a concept for now, and therefore only has a hypothetical powerplant.

Mercedes Ener-G-Force concept

The Mercedes Ener-G-Force concept is Benz’s answer to the 2012 LA Design Challenge brief to create the "Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025". As the name suggests, the large SUV is also a hint towards a future redesign of the classic Geländewagen G-Wagen/G-Class. Graphically this is most evident around the Ener-G-Force’s DRG with its dark mask incorporating deep-set lamps (here with ‘G’ lamp graphics), a surprisingly traditional Mercedes grille and characteristic fender-top turn signals.
