The PM1200 is a two place panel mount intercom designed for the loudest of aircraft. Designed to be a direct replacement for PM1000II series (part number 11902, 11922, 11909) it provides unprecedented noise reduction capability.

Not only does it use our proven patented IntelliVox® automatic squelch circuit, but also includes our latest invention, the "Active Microphone Processor", better known as AMP™. This new system actively reduces noise that is picked up by the microphone, dynamically reducing the background noise heard in the headset when the VOX is opened.

There has never been an intercom that provides as much intelligibility as the PM1200, PERIOD.

This new intercom system will be able to tame the noise of cockpits such as the P-51, B-17, PV-2, T-6, T-28, and the Pitts S2B/C. We know because we have flown in all of these really noisy aircraft and know exactly what needed to be done!

The PM1200 also provide ample headset volume, with audio amplifiers that will supply to the general aviation headset as much as 120 mW (almost twice that of our regular intercoms) in 28 volt aircraft. Additionally, by a push of the Copilot volume control, the system will convert to VOX to PTT-ICS.

Akio Toyoda waves family flag, heir makes crisis personal challenge

Wed, 24 Feb 2010

The reclusive Akio Toyoda is taking the rare step of waving the family flag, as the scion to Toyota Motor Corp.’s founding dynasty tries to steer the world’s largest car company out of a spiraling safety crisis. In testimony prepared for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, President Toyoda pursues a rare personal tack on the emergency, saying “my name is on every car.” “As you well know, I am the grandson of the founder, and all the Toyota vehicles bear my name,” Toyoda says in prepared comments circulated ahead of Wednesday’s committee hearing in Washington. “For me, when the cars are damaged, it is as though I am as well.” The intimate reflection is a departure for Toyoda, who has spent most of his career sidestepping public discussion of his lineage.

Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupé drifting at Laguna Seca (Video)

Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupé drifting at Laguna Seca To celebrate 2 million views on their YouTube Channel, AMG has taken a C 63 AMG Coupe for a bit of a blat round the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Car makers are slowly waking up to the joys of the Interweb as a way to promote their wares, and they’re all busy feeding their Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube channels with new content to keep fans amused. It’s never exactly the most unbiased content so it often needs taking with a pinch of Maldon’s finest, but YouTube, in particular, gives car makers the chance to showcase their cars in action, and if they can do that and makes ‘fans’ feel a part of it, so much the better.

Range Rover Evoque by Marangoni Now the Range Rover Evoque is out in the wild it’s starting to get attention from the tuners. Like this Evoque from tyre maker Marangoni at the Bologna Motor Show. The Range Rover Evoque is something of a style icon at the moment in the car world, so it’s no surprise that tuners are starting to see if they can tweak Land Rover’s new baby to make it more appealing to a market looking for even more individuality than the Evoque already offers.
