“Pair of BFGoodrich Aerospace / Hella Aerospace LED navigation lights. Includes left (port/red P/N 2LA455358-00) and right (starboard/green P/N2LA455359-00) lights. 28V only. It has the same mounting dimensions as the navigation lights that are faired under the clear plastic wingtip housing on Barons and Bonanzas, but it's physically larger. As you can see, the lights are incredibly bright, even working off of 3 9 volt batteries- very little power draw! Rated for 10,000 hours. Direct replacement for existing lights installed on BK117, BO105, DO228, EC135, EH101, Hindustan ALH, PC9, PC12, Transall and many others. These lights comply to FAR part 23, 25, 27 and 29 and are also NVIS friendly. Suitable for civil aviation and for operations with NVG‘s, no need to apply filters or change the light source.”

The new Honda NSX Concept will take on the Goodwood hillclimb in June The arrival of the production version of the new Honda NSX Supercar is schedlued for 2015, and Honda are making sure the new NSX will arrive with high expectations. They’ve already announced the new NSX will go racing before it even goes in to production and they’ve had a new NSX out on track to try and show its ‘Green’ credentials are a positive not a negative. Now, Honda has announced that we’ll all be able to get up close and personal with the new NSX as it will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June and will take on the Goodwood hillclimb.

CLASSIC car auctioneer, Historics at Brooklands, will be selling a very special London taxi at the end of November. This particular example of a 1935 12/4 Austin Taxi is no ordinary cab though, having transported the rich and famous as part of its role as gust transport for boutique hotel, Blakes, in London’s South Kensington. Plucked from its more humble street life in the 70’s by the hotel’s creator - film star and actress turned hotelier and interior designer - Anouska Hempel (now Lady Weinberg) - the 1935 Austin Taxi Low Loading became the exclusive hotel transport soon after the hotel’s opening, for Blakes’s many famous guests including Ali McGraw, Neil Diamond, Robert Redford, Bob Dylan and Jane Russell.

Alfa Romeo 8C, Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo recalled

Owners of 2005-2008 Maserati Quattroportes, 2008 GranTurismos, and the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C should expect to hear from dealers soon as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall this past week. The recall is for tie-rod ends that have insufficient corrosion protection, which then leads to rust and weakening of the units. This unit could fail completely, causing the driver of the vehicle to lose control.
