Lamborghini LP700-4 - Name Confirmed (click for larger image) This week – and today in particular – has been all about the Detroit Motor Show. But one absentee from Detroit is Lamborghini, which we guess lets them off their promise to bring a new car to every motor show. But despite not forking out for a stand or showing up with a new car, they have been forthcoming today with nmore detail on the replacement for the Murcielago.

Chinese manufacturer Chery will be presenting the Shooting Sport concept at the Shanghai Motor Show this week. The Shooting Sport was designed and constructed by Torino Design in Italy, as with the recent Coupe and SUV shown at the Beijing Motor Show. The car is a compact, front wheel drive, four seater + luggage, three door 'wagon-coupe' offering space and flexibility.

The new Lamborghini Cabrera (sp photo above) will be privately revealed in London in January The Lamborghini Gallardo – Lamborghini’s entry-level model – has finally finished its production run, and Lamborghini are now preparing to reveal its successor. That successor is expected to be called the Cabrera, and we’ve been expecting it to be revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. But now Lamborghini have started teasing their new supercar, it could be sooner.
