2011 Infiniti G37 Convertible It’s not five minutes since Infiniti introduced the G37 – a 3-Series size car – to the UK and Europe, but already they’re tweaking and titivating to make it more appealing. The Infiniti G37 range consists of three body styles – saloon, coupe and convertible – and all three get the 3.7 litre V6 and a seven-speed auto ‘box with paddle-shift  as standard, with new alloys and paint colours offered across the range. The Infiniti G Saloon comes in four flavours – G37, G37x GT, G37 x GT Premium and G37 S Premium.

Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy and the Nurburgring crew First we get the news that Renault has pushed out a limited edition Megane Renaulsport – the Megane Renaulsport 265 Trophy with a slightly tweaked and titivated version of the Megane Renaultsport 250 – and now we get the follow-up publicity with the claim of a new Nurburgring record for the brisk Megane. This isn’t a record that’s quite as daft as some of the records that are claimed for the Nurburgring (there almost seems to be a specific category of ‘Record’ time to fit every car maker’s needs), but it does seem a bit obscure. But it seems Rolls Royce must have thought much the same, as it turns out that the impressive paint job isn’t actually that at all, but a pink vinyl wrap provided – free of charge – by car vinyl wrap experts Raccoon. Raccoon chose a gloss laminated film to wrap the Ghost to make sure it looked as indistinguishable as possible from a bespoke paint job, and it worked. No one has noticed the pinks Rolls Royce doesn’t have a custom paint job and that’s down to Raccoon taking extreme care to carefully wrap not just the outside panels, but also stuff like door sills and any areas that might otherwise give the game away.
