A stained glass sun catcher made from the finest materials using old world craftsmanship. Each piece is hand cut and ground. The they are wrapped in copper foil and soldered.... again by hand. This art takes approximately 6 hours to produce using over 10 different processes to achieve the finished product. The size is approximatewly 12" in diameter. The Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design Class of 2013 has launched a new blog that will allow the public to follow their projects and studio work from ideas to exhibition for the first time in the course's 40-year history. The blog, which is updated daily, allows people to follow the process of the 18 MA students' final projects and college work in real-time and give them a ‘behind the scenes' look at their progress. RCA student Ewan Gallimore, speaking on behalf of the class, tells Car Design News, "So much of the work and process is unseen and by regularly updating this blog we give the chance for people to follow and interact with the run up to our show.

Nissan Division will be focused for the next few years not just on how to move its product line forward but also how to produce it less expensively. As the company embarks on a multiyear wave of new technologies and a brand-marketing campaign focused on innovation, it also is looking to bring down manufacturing costs through platform sharing, modular components and common parts. The first example of this new process is the redesigned Versa sedan, which will be assembled in Mexico.

Rolls Royce has its most successful year EVER in 2013 The 110th anniversary of Rolls Royce in 2013 is a record in itself, but RR have capped that by delivering a set of sales figures that are the best ever. Big sales growth across the glove saw sales in the Middle East rise by 17 per cent, China by 11 per cent and strong sales in other markets like Germany, Japan and Canada, with China and the US remaining the most significant markets. Those extra sales have been helped by the network of Rolls Royce dealers rising to a record 120 with a further 15 new dealerships added in 2013 and more planned for 2014.
