Domestic Vehicles Import Vehicles Kia Forte™ - manual: 10mm x 1.25 Volvo™ 140 Series: 3/8 - 16 Details: Two piece aluminum shift knob features an aluminum weighted core with black or white polymer, screw down grip shell that keeps the knob cool to touch during hot summer days.
Single piece aluminum knob offers the similar shape and design, but at a less expensive cost. Precision cut with a state of the art Solidworks software and CNC machine ensures high quality, perfect fitment, and attention to detail on every single knob. These were designed to fit both five and six speed transmissions, and have the center core cutout to accommodate reverse lockout rings. Each knob features the #Boostaholics monkey on top, perfectly cut by CNC to match the exact logo used on the show! Installation instructions: To install this shift knob with the monkey logo facing the direction you wish, we ask that you use loctite blue. Clean the thread surface of your shifter with rubbing alcohol and make sure all of the threads are free from debris. Place a generous amount of loctite inside of the shift knob, coating the threads evenly. TIP! You need about three or four good sized drops for complete coverage. Roll the loctite bead around inside of the shift knob for adequate coverage. Screw the shift knob down onto the shifter until it reaches the desired position, preferably as close to completely tightened as possible with the logo still facing the direction you want. When it is in position, leave the shift knob to cure for at least four hours. Letting it sit overnight is a great way to ensure a proper bond and tight fit. Loctite not included. Any questions? Let me know I'm happy to help. All proceeds from shift knob sales go into the #boostaholics production budget so I can bring you better content, new builds, and more. Thank you for your support! |
