When we first saw the new Chevy Silverado, we thought, “Hmmm, styling's conservative, interior quality looks a bit better … these things better drive well or Chevy's in a heap of trouble.” No doubt, the new Silverado is an outstanding full-size pickup, so much so we put one on our June 24 cover and said that it was “more refined than ever.”And that's really the story here. In our Best of the Best testing, we found the Silverado to be as quiet, refined and smooth as one could ask from a full-size pickup. Testers also were impressed with the body control (for a large truck) and outstanding ride.

Mercedes-Benz's gorgeous 300SL--or Gullwing, as it is affectionately now known--has been reborn five decades after the iconic two-seater first sent the motoring world into a spin at the New York auto show in 1954. We were the first to report Mercedes' secret plans to resurrect the Gullwing following Dieter Zetsche's decision not to forge ahead with a second supercar in collaboration with its Formula One partner, McLaren. 2015 Hyundai i20 INTERIOR revealed Hyundai has already had two bites at the cherry with the reveal of the new 2015 i20 – first with some design sketches and then an almost complete reveal ten days later – but now they’ve finally finished the reveal (and had three lots of column inches for the price of one) with more details and the first interior photos. Hyundai say the new i20′s interior is colourful and comfortable, and they look to have worked on pushing the i20′s interior closer to that of German rivals. Plenty of premium soft-touch materials make the interior a nicer place to be – and to touch – and colour blocks are used to help create an air of spaciousness.
