Rare barn finds on sale: Jaguar E-Type and XK120 head to auction

The motoring world remains full of surprises – here we have a pair of classic Jaguars that had apparently been all but forgotten until they were pulled out of their respective hiding places earlier this year. The blue car is an early E-Type, the silver car an early steel-bodied XK120, both are heading to auction with Coys in the Ascot Sale on 26 October 2013. Porsche launches brand new Macan compact SUV

PORSCHE has unveiled its new Macan compact SUV, which has been tipped to take its sector by storm. At 4.68 metres long and 1.92 metres wide, the smaller brother to the hugely successful Cayenne is a considerably more manageable size than its full-size sibling, as well as being more affordable and still packed with performance. Two closely-related turbocharged petrol engines are being touted by Porsche as the initial flagship powerplants.

Audi TT RS (2009) teaser pictures and audio

It'll be Ingolstadt's hottest ever TT, with over 300bhp from its 2.5-litre turbocharged engine. To whet your appetite a little further Audi has also released an audio clip of the TT RS in action, which you can listen to here. We'll see the car in full at the Geneva motor show in less than two weeks time.
