Camaro Ss/slp Muffler/tailpipe System, Very Clean on 2040-parts.com
Minneapolis, Minnesota, US
Up for auction is a muffler and tailpipe system made by SLP for a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro SS. I saw the car that this system
was removed from, the person who sold me this system said it was removed when the car had about 50,000 miles.
I bought all new stainless steel clamps for this, I had a local muffler shop resize all of the pipes and connections on the
muffler, so there are no fitment issues. I spent a few hours cleaning this system up, and it looks quite good, but it is
NOT perfect. There is one very small "ding" on one of the tailpipes (see photo 7). I also had to trim about 1/4 inch off
of the inlet to the muffler, due to a weld that had caused a bad edge. Still, this system should bolt right up to a
late 4 generation Camaro or Firebird with a V8 and a 3 inch intermediate pipe.
The muffler and tailpipes will be shipped in separate boxes, because the muffler is very heavy, and I don't want it to
bang up the tailpipes. This system is all stainless, so it should last just about forever. These used to be quite common
on eBay, but are getting harder to find, so if you are looking for a setup like this, now is the time to consider a serious
bid.
There are NO RETURNS on this system, payment is by PayPal only, and payment is required to be made within 48
hours after the end of the auction, or this item will be relisted. If you have any questions, please ask BEFORE the
auction ends, do NOT try to negotiate shipping price or other terms AFTER the auction ends. I'll try to be fair on
the shipping, but I will NOT eat any shipping costs.
Sorry, no international shipping, the cost to ship and deal with customs is too much trouble.

Citroen DS3 and DS3 Cabrio ‘Facelift’ revealed
Thu, 22 May 2014Citroen DS3 and DS3 Cabrio ‘Facelift’ revealed The baby of the DS range – the Citroen DS3 – is still one of our favourite hatches, and although it’s been with us a few years it still feels current. Which perhaps explains why Citroen’s facelift of the DS3 really amounts to not much more than some new posh headlights and some technology and engine updates. The headline news is the new lighting on the DS3 (although only the DSport gets it as standard) with xenon units with an LED lighting element which, say Citroen, use 35 pe3r cent less power on dipped beam and 75 per cent less on main beam, have a 20,000 hour life (20 times that of a standard halogen bulb) and are derived from the lights on the Numero 9 and Wild Rubis Concepts.
New Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet and Estate delayed
Tue, 26 May 2009The new Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet - now put back until Spring 2010 Mercedes has done a pretty good job on updating the E-Class, and its been receiving good comments all round. But Mercedes has lost the momentum a bit with the revelation that the E-Class Coupe is actually based on a C-Class chassis. Not that that alone is reason for complaint, but there was a big hoo-haa around the nomenclature for the E-Class Coupe (should it have been the CLK?) so it was a bit disingenuous of Mercedes to reveal the Coupe’s roots after its reveal.
