Thu, 24 Nov 2011Subaru Impreza WRX STI S206 Scooby fans do like a limited edition Impreza, so their collective mouths will be watering at the news that a new Impreza is on the block – the Impreza WRX STI S206. But before you all get too excited, Subaru has no plans to bring any of the 300 S206s to the UK – they’re all for the JDM and are going straight on sale in Japan, with an S206 taking pride of place on Subaru’s stand at the Tokyo Motor Show next week. Subaru say the S206 is the Crown Jewel of the STI cars, and Subaru have given the S206 a raft of updates over the standard WRX STI.

Tue, 21 Feb 2012New special editions of the 2012 Toyota Aygo revealed The 2012 Toyota Aygo has yet to reach showrooms, but we’re already getting two limited editions – the Toyota Aygo Fire and Aygo Ice. The Toyota Aygo has been given a bit of a refresh for 2012 – just like its Peugeot and Citroen cousins – and even before the 2012 Aygo hits showrooms in the UK Toyota has announced a pair of special editions – the Aygo Fire and Aygo Ice. Both the Aygo Ice and Aygo Fire come with the freshly tweaked 1.0 litre VVT-I petrol engine, which now delivers sub-100g/km emissions and economy improved to 65.7mpg, as well as the tweaks to the nose, new LEDs, restyled bumpers, tinted glass and the smallest of interior tweaks.
Fiat wants a crossover to compete against the Volkswagen Golf
Mon, 18 Apr 2011Fiat has decided it won't launch a new conventional hatchback to rival the Volkswagen Golf, Europe's best-selling car. Instead, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne wants the Italian automaker to replace its slow-selling Bravo compact hatchback with an all-new high-roof crossover inspired by the hot-selling Nissan Qashqai. Marchionne first hinted at Fiat's plan to make the bold product move at the Detroit auto show in January.
