GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. Renault Captur compact SUV prices revealed – costs from £12,495

But by the time Renault had run their Captur Concept through the inevitable watering down concepts from mainstream car makers suffer, it turned in to a Clio with rufty-tufty bits and a higher ride height. Enter the production version of the Renault Captur at the start of 2013 and its subsequent debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Now Renault has revealed prices for the Captur, and its costs from £12,495 for the entry-level Expression trim with the TCe 90 engine, rising to £18,895 for the Dynamique S Media Nav with the dCi 90 engine and auto ‘box.

Honda set to debut S660 roadster concept at Tokyo motor show

Honda will take the wraps off the S660 roadster concept at the upcoming Tokyo motor show at the end of November of this year. Honda fans have admittedly been shortchanged when it comes to the roadster bodystyle from the Japanese automaker, with the S2000 having left production back in 2009. Honda could remedy this gap in its lineup with a production version of the S660 roadster.
