This is the newly facelifted Mercedes CL500; although previously tipped to be called the S-Class Coupé, Mercedes stuck with the original name after all. Alongside the soon-to-be industry-standard daytime running lights and updated grille, lights and exhaust, most of the changes on the new 2010 Merc CL are in areas you can't see. The biggest change is in the engine bay: out goes the old 5.5-litre V8 and in comes a more powerful and economical 4.7-litre bi-turbo.

Update 12th Feb 2010: Finally we get confirmation that the production name is the Lexus CT 200h. Update 1st September: Lexus has now revealed their Premium Compact as the Lexus LF-Ch. Back in ’05, the rumour was that the compact would be called the Lexus BS.

Peugeot have revealed pictures of its latest concept ahead of its Shanghai launch. Dubbed the SxC, the show car has been designed solely at the Peugeot Style Studios in China. Sitting atop 22inch wheels and weighing in larger in every dimension than a Range Rover, the Peugeot SxC is an 'impressive size' according to Peugeot, but also harks back to design elements of previous concepts such as the BB1, EX1 and SR1.
