JAC revealed this four-door Vision IV concept at the Beijing Motor Show. Designed by JAC's Turin-based design team, the concept showcases both a hybrid powertrain and a new A-segment chassis that houses a lithium ion battery in the center tunnel. The styling is meant to convey both a sense of 'natural electricity' and the fluid, natural strokes of Chinese calligraphy. The next generation Chevrolet Malibu is set to be unveiled at the forthcoming Shanghai Motor Show. However, for those unable to make it to the Peoples Republic, Chevrolet has announced that the car will be launched simultaneously via Facebook. The Malibu has only been teased so far, but from the picture provided, it is clear the car will sport Camaro inspired LED taillamps.

Mercedes E300 BlueTEC Hybrid Mercedes has revealed a pair of hybrid E-Class cars bound for a Detroit debut – the E300 BlueTec hybrid for Europe and E400 Hybrid for the US. All car maker are busy introducing hybrid platforms where they can, especially for their big-selling cars, and MB is no different, with a pair of new Mercedes Hybrid cars bound for a debut at next month’s Detroit Auto Show. The Mercedes E300 BlueTec Hybrid is the offering for Europe, although it wouldn’t be a huge shock if Mercedes eventually launched it in the US.
