Kia’s new Sorento is basically the same convincing package as the new Santa Fe, just wrapped up in a Kia instead of a Hyundai. We honestly had no idea that a Guinness World Record existed for the Farthest Reverse Ramp Jump by a Car, so imagine our surprise when we learned that professional skateboarder and MTV personality Rod Dyrdek set out to break that record at Six Flags Magic Mountain using a Chevrolet Sonic.
GM, Chrysler, Nissan launch recalls
Fri, 12 Nov 2010General Motors is recalling 13,780 of its 2010 and 2011 Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS vehicles because of a risk of fire caused by a steering fluid leak. Nissan is recalling 605,000 of its cars for issues with the steering column and batteries. Meanwhile, Chrysler is recalling 16,000 Jeep Liberty SUVs that have a faulty windshield-wiper system.
