This is a used charcoal grey radio/heat dash bezel trim with dimmer light switch from a 2004 Chevy Cavalier that should fit the years listed in the title, but please check your specific application before bidding on all.   It is in great condition overall with some minor road wear such as a few minor scratches, a little bit of dirt or dust, and a couple minor scuff marks besides the ones where the dash sits.   It comes with 3 good working vents, but are a bit dusty.  All of the 6 dash pad supports at the very top that sit under the dash are in great shape.  All the screw mounts are in great shape, even the notorious left side screw mount is fine.  All the secondary push tabs with metal clips are also in great shape, but one metal clip is missing which you can get from your old one.  It does come with the dimmer switch and the cigarette lighter assembly with wire pigtails, but have not been tested so comes as is.  Buyer pays shipping for the continous 48 states which was intentionally set due to the size so please look at your overall total when bidding.  Buyers scale goes from mint, great, good, fair and to poor.  I ship each day, but Sun. and Holidays.

Saab gets a ray of hope from China

Sun, 11 Sep 2011

Victor Muller sees a glimpse of sunshine from China The saga that is the long and painful demise of Saab seemed to reach its nadir last week when courts in Sweden refused to offer the beleaguered car maker sanctuary in its protection. We thought that would be the end for Saab – despite a never-say-die appeal of the decision by Victor Muller, due to be heard tomorrow – with nowhere left to hide from trade supplier debts of €150 million, and the wrath of Sweden’s unions ready to file for Saab’s bankruptcy over unpaid wages for Saab employees. The nadir for Saab should reasonably be followed by its rapid consignment to the annuls of motoring history, but a tiny glimmer of hope has risen from Saab’s putative investors in China.

However special the Bugatti Veyron is, it’s hard to get excited when the press release drops in the inbox with the heading ‘Special Edition Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse debuts at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering’. Because you just know it won’t be special.

Nissan 370Z GT Edition launched

Wed, 18 May 2011

The black or white Nissan 370Z GT Edition It’s not always the first thing that springs to mind when  you think about Nissan, but they have had a fair chunk of success in GT racing, going all the way back to the ’70s. So with the ‘Limited Edition’ being one of the car makers’ favourite marketing tools, there is a certain logic in looking back to the ’70s for inspiration for the latest limited edition Nissan 370Z – the Nissan 370Z GT Edition. For those old enough – or for Nissan Z Car nutters – the retro graphic on the side will bring to mind the early Datsun 240Z.
