BHJ Products Cylinder Head Torque Plate for Chevy SBC 302-350,400

CH-1-H

This plate is cast iron.

The Cylinder Head or "H" Model precision Torque Plate is drilled and tapped to accept the installation of the cylinder head using the O.E.M. length cylinder head bolts or aftermarket studs and a gasket. With the head installed on the plate, valve seat distortion is duplicated during the machining process producing a substantially more efficient valve seal. Some cylinder heads show a 5-12% improvement in leakdown when valve seats are machined in this manner.

Some clearancing of the side wall of the plate may be necessary to fit large grinding stones or cutters into the combustion chamber on some applications.

Bentley Continental GT V8 (2012) spied by Autoblog This isn’t the first time we’ve had a spy photo of the 2012 Bentley Continental GT V8, although last time it was the new V8 under a drop-top Bentley GTC. And the V8 Continental GT does look finished in the photo; ready for the motor show and showroom, we would conclude. But maybe not.
