Taking center stage at the Shanghai Auto Show was the Volvo concept Universe.  As the first project done under Peter Horbury since his return to Volvo, and new owner Geely the car marks a departure from current design languages and returns to simple Scandinavian design. Chevrolet sets base price for the 2011 Camaro convertible at $30,000

The price of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro convertible when it hits showroom floors in February will be $30,000, including an $850 destination charge, General Motors said on Thursday. The price is about $2,000 more than a similarly equipped Ford Mustang convertible. The Camaro convertible will be available in the same trim levels as the coupe version.

Morgan to fight car firm ousting

A FORMER SPORTS CAR chief has vowed to fight his removal from the board of the company his grandfather founded. Charles Morgan said he was appealing against the decision by Morgan Motor Company, which said he would no longer be a part of the managing team or the board of directors at Morgan Technologies, a subsidiary of the main company. Earlier this year, Mr Morgan stepped down as the Worcestershire-based company's managing director and became an ambassador for the brand started by his grandfather Henry Morgan in 1910.
