Technical Features for Cobra XRS 888

The Cobra XRS 888 is a 14 band radar detector that provides advance protection and alerts you to the presence of emergency vehicles, as well as radar and laser signals. The radar detector provides extra detection range with Xtreme Range Superheterodyne® technology, plus the IntelliMute system virtually eliminate false alerts and is undetectable to both VG-2 and Spectre 1 detectors.

The XRS 888 features LaserEye, which provides 360° detection of laser signals, and an ultra bright data display that provides easy recognition of band detected by use of band identification icons. The safety alert function of the radar detector warns the driver of emergency vehicles and road hazards. Classic Lotus Cortina owner wins £5,000 fund

A LUCKY Lotus Cortina owner has won a £5,000 prize to make improvements and restorations to his car. Pete Shaw was awarded the prize by Footman James classic car insurance at last month’s Classic Motor Show. His beloved 1966 Mk1 Airflow Lotus Cortina had been entered into the competition with much-needed work on the cards.

LEWIS HAMILTON has been forced to clarify comments after suggesting Sebastian Vettel was boring Formula One fans. Hamilton voiced his frustration in the wake of Sunday's Korean Grand Prix as Vettel won his fourth successive race to stretch his championship lead over Fernando Alonso to 77 points. Under the stewardship of local farmer James Wilson Brown, the RAC International Grand Prix was staged on 2 October, using similar regulations to those that shaped pre-war grand prix racing. The track layout comprised the airbase’s perimeter roads, with straw bales and ropes protecting the piggery and the crops in the middle of the circuit.
