Continental A-75 Engine complete with accessories(dual magnetos w/ switch, kidney oil tank, tachometer and cable, oil cooler,carburetor(Marvel MA3-PA) pinto flywheel and starter.)
Engine has TOP OUTLET EXHAUST. I do not believe this is common on these engines. A lot of additional items are also included, (2) spare magnetos(Bendix SF4), new exhaust headers, (2) new push rod tubes, and a bag of miscellaneous seals/gaskets. Engine is shown on stand, the stand is NOT included with this auction. This was removed from a functional airboat. Magnetos and oil tank were dismounted during removal. Number of hours are unknown. One option--a stretched version of Fiat's compact D-Evo platform--faces serious hurdles, and one early proposal--use of an Opel platform--is off the table. Now sources say Chrysler Group LLC could replace its much-maligned mid-sized cars with a model based on the Chrysler 200C EV, a concept shown at the Detroit auto show in January.
Jaguar reveals first ‘new’ lightweight E-Type
Tue, 12 Aug 2014CLASSIC car fans and speculators alike will be rejoicing as Jaguar has revealed the prototype of its ‘new' lightweight E-Type. Six further examples will be built by Jaguar Heritage and sold as period competition vehicles, using previously unused chassis numbers to give them true authenticity. In 1963 Jaguar started the 'Special GT E-type' programme to build 18 lightweight racers, but only 12 were ever made.

Tue, 21 Oct 2008On the weekend of October 11, the San Diego Automotive Museum celebrated its 20th Anniversary by hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a special exhibit, Ferrari: Cavallino Rampante - Italy's Prancing Horse. The Saturday evening event was the grand opening reception for 15 rare Ferraris on exhibit, joined by designs created by retired automobile designers and local high school students. The extravagant evening celebration also served as a finale of two-day Ferrari Road Rally event, inviting owners of Ferraris from various eras to show their cars - which ranged from a 1967 275 GTB and 1968 Dino to a 360 Challenge Stradale. Over a dozen Ferraris parked in front of the museum served as a pleasant prelude to some of marque's memorable examples displayed inside: a collection of rare Ferraris that includes a 1952 212 Europa, 1955 250 Boano Prototipo, 1956 250 GT Zagato, 1957 250 Testarossa, 1959 410 Super America and 1965 275 GTB/Competizione.
