You are bidding on a Al Knoch bottom seat cover in red for a 1961 Corvette. This fits either bottom cushion. I had installed this cover 6 years ago and noticed the two damaged areas' this spring. Could be repaired easily i am sure or left alone if yours is in worse shape. You can repair from bottom side by slitting underside padding carefully to get at underside of split. Push together with underside patch holding repair. Vinyl is still very soft and pliable. Just two areas pictured show signs of damage. Not sure why this happened as other seat is still perfect?   Check photos before bidding and ask any questions. Pay-pal accepted. Shipping lower 48 states will be 18.00 with tracking. Ferrari 599 Hybrid – it’s a very ‘Green’ Ferrari

Sat, 27 Feb 2010

The very green Ferrari 599 Hybrid at Geneva To a die-hard petrol head, Ferrari lover or frankly anyone with a proper sense of right and wrong, the idea of a ‘Green’ Ferrari is anathema. Fortunately, although I suppose you could consider the Ferrari 599 Hybrid ‘Green’ in the sense that it will probably produce less CO2 (which is, of course, the single most important thing for  Ferrari), the performance of this 599 Hybrid  is going to be its forte, and the real green bit on this particular 599 Hybrid is the hideous paint job. We’ve known for a while that Ferrari were working on a Hybrid, and we recently revealed it would be a hybrid version of the Ferrari 599.

Opel Ampera preview

Tue, 27 Jan 2009

Opel has released a teaser sketch of its new five-door extended-range electric car ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Based on the Voltec powertrain and chassis architecture of Chevrolet's Volt, the Ampera promises to surpass that car in terms of style by some margin. The body appears to be nearly identical between the A- and C-pillars, but the deformed horseshoe-shaped headlamp design and two-bar grille come straight from the 2007 Flextreme concept, as do the car's tree-branch alloy wheels.

Frankfurt 2011: VW Nils EV Go-Kart Video

Sat, 17 Sep 2011

VW Nils revealed at Frankfurt There have been quite a few of these very small, go-kart-style urban commuter cars cropping up of late, but perhaps the Volkswagen Nils is the most promising. The most promising because if – and it’s a very big if – commuters take to the idea of a grown-up version of a soap-box Kart with an engine for getting to work, the VW Nils will possibly offer the best combination of practicality, refinement and cost. Yes, there’s the Audi Urban Concept to consider, but that will be more expensive (there’s a reason Audi makes VW 40% of its profits), so if commuters do actually find appeal in this route then the Nils is probably the front-runner.
