THIS CAME IN A NON RUNNING CAR SO I HAD A REPUTABLE TRANNY SHOP INSPECT IT AND EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT GOOD AND IS WORKING. I HAD NEW SEALS PUT IN THE FRONT AND REAR. I DID HAVE O DO A LITTLE WELD REPAIR BY THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BOLTS. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.  THIS HAS 3 GROOVES ON THE FRONT SPLINE WHICH MEANS IT IS A WIDE RATIO 2.64 FIRST GEAR TRANSMISSION. College Exhibition: IAAD - 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'

Demonstrating the development of new concepts for Alfa Romeo and Ducati, the Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, has been hosting an exhibition entitled 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'. The work was produced by Transport Design students from Turin's Institute of Applied Arts and Design (IAAD). Working with designers from both companies, IAAD students were given a pair of options to chose from: two wheels or four; Ducati or Alfa Romeo.

Some 40 years after Parnelli Jones drove a Bud Moore-built Boss 302 Mustang to the Trans-Am championship, Ford Racing has unleashed a new Boss 302R. The new Boss is an off-road-only Mustang that comes from the factory race-ready. Each of the limited-to-50 cars will come fitted with a 5.0-liter four-valve V8 and six-speed manual transmission.

LONDON cabbies have seized the chance to test the first in a new wave of low-emissions taxis. At Metrocab's testing facility in Surrey, representatives from the Capital's taxi world met London Mayor Boris Johnson, who after driving the car threatened to turn into Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. The Mayor joined Licensed Taxi Drivers Association (LTDA) General Secretary Steve McNamara, and London Cab Drivers Club (LCDC) Chairman Grant Davis to put the Metrocab’s zero emissions capability to the test.
