For sale is one used rear wall panel outside reinforcement. P/N 3954550 Correct for Corvettes 1969-1970 GM Interchange P/N 3919771 Service Replacement for 1968 Corvettes The bracket attaches to the rear closing panel (back wall) of the rear storage compartment cargo area on the outside (underbody) of the Corvette (See Diagram). The courtesy light housing mounting bracket on the inside of the closing panel shares 4 mounting rivets with the reinforcement. There are 3 styles of this reinforcement, in 1968 there was no hole, in 1969 a 9/16" hole was added at the top for the tip of a carpet rubber fastener to protrude and in 1970 the hole was enlarged to 3/4". This reinforcement is the 1969 style with a 9/16" hole. It shows some oxidation and finish loss, but there is no weak metal (see pictures). It appears to be in its factory shape. The mount holes show some wear from the removal process, but they appear to be in good useable condition (see pictures).
This is a good original rear wall reinforcement for your Corvette, please look at the pictures below. If you have any questions please contact us. Volvo outlined three new technologies that it says will help make the Volvos of the future a good deal safer: autonomous driving, “Intersection Support” and animal detection. Volvo says it's tailoring technologies to the way people drive, by which it means poorly. The company claims that “surveys from three different research institutes in the United States reveal that modern drivers spend 25 to 30 percent of their time behind the wheel doing other things, such as focusing on mobile communication.” Volvo's new technologies are said take this into account and “provide the driver with the right support at all times.”
By using a camera and radar, future Volvos will be able to follow the car in front while driving in slow traffic using an autonomous-driving function.

2012 Volvo XC90 Facelift - very minor tweaks
The Volvo XC90 has been with us for the best part of a decade without any major changes, thanks mainly to Ford pulling the plug on a new XC90 a few years ago. But the outlook is much brighter since the Chinese took the reins at Volvo and we’re certain there’s a new XC90 ready to surface in 2012. But for now Volvo has decided to give the current XC90 a bit of a tweak to take it through to the launch of an all new model.
