THIS INVERTER LOOKS LIKE IT IS NEW, EXCEPT THE 'WITNESS MARKS' FROM WHERE THE HOLD DOWN SCREWS HELD IT IN PLACE.
IT IS ANOTHER INVERTER  RETURNED BECAUSE IT SUPPOSEDLY DIDN'T WORK... BUT READ ON, THIS IS WHERE IT GOES TO SHOW YOU COMMON SENSE ISN'T ALWAYS COMMON...

ALL THAT WAS WRONG WAS THE GFCI  WILL NOT ALWAYS RESET IN 'POWER SAVE MODE', WHICH MEANS YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT OF"SLEEP MODE" TO RESET THE GFCI... 

OR SIMPLY DON'T USE POWER SAVE MODE!!!

BIG DEAL.  JUST LEAVE IT IN 'ALWAYS ON' WHEN POWER SWITCH IS IN 'ON', AND YOUR DONE, PROBLEM SOLVED.

IT WILL STILL WORK IN "REMOTE", MEANING IF YOU BUY A REMOTE FOR THESE INVERTER (AVAILABLE FROM MANY E-BAY SELLERS) YOU CAN STILL TURN THIS INVERTER ON AND OFF, LIKE NORMAL, WITH A REMOTE.

EVERY INVERTER I SELL IS TESTED FOR 3 DAYS, CONTINUOUS.  I TAKE IT THROUGH 12 HOUR CYCLES (AFTER CHARGING THE BATTERIES FOR 12 HOURS) AT 20%, 60%, & 80% OF MAXIMUM LOAD.  DURING THAT 12 HOURS, 6 OF THOSE HOURS THE BATTERY CHARGER REMAINS CONNECTED KEEPING THE BATTERY BANK CHARGED.  THEN THE LAST 6 HOURS IT RUNS THE BATTERY BANK DOWN, CONFIRMING THE INVERTER OPERATES THROUGHOUT ITS RATED VOLTAGE RANGE.  I WORK WITH THESE INVERTERS AT WORK EVERY DAY, AND BUY THEM FROM THE COMPANY I WORK FOR (THEY CAN'T RESELL SOMETHING AS NEW THAT HAS LEFT THE BUILDING) WHEN THEY COME BACK LIKE THIS, OR SIMILAR.

I HAVE HAD PEOPLE ASK IF I TEST THE 'SURGE' CAPACITY OF ANY INVERTER I SELL.  WELL I JUST ADDED THIS TO MY TEST PROCEDURE.  I PUT 2 HEATERS ON TO BRING THE LOAD UP TO 80%.  I THEN USE A HEAT GUN TO BRING THE 'SURGE' UP TO AS HIGH AS I COULD, WHICH ENDED UP BEING ABOUT 2600 WATTS, & I KEPT IT THERE FOR 15 SECONDS.  SURGE IS SUPPOSED TO BE 3000 WATTS, SO I FEEL CONFIDENT IT WILL ACCEPT SURGE TO 3000 WATTS

We tried to make some really appalling combinations, but we failed. SRT is heading back to France with two identically prepared Viper GTS-Rs for the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 22-23. It will be the first time the marque has competed at the race since it won the GTS class three consecutive times, from 1998 to 2000. It will compete in the LM GTE Pro Class.
