SPECIFICATIONS Floor and Tunnel Shield was designed to withstand direct temperatures up to 1750?F. Because of it's unique material, it is capable of insulating against unwanted road noise up to 50%. Constructed utilizing an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite fiberglass insulation, Floor and Tunnel Shield is backed with an aggressive adhesive that holds past 450?F. Only 3/16" thickness it requires minimal clearance and can be shaped and trimmed for a custom fit. Floor and Tunnel Shield provides the optimal way to reflect heat away from vehicle components and perfect for protecting under hoods, firewalls, fuel cells, exterior areas such as transmission tunnel, floorpans and other under-vehicle locations. AAA unveils battery-charging trucks for stranded EVs
Mon, 18 Jul 2011The American Automobile Association has unveiled an example of its new roadside-assistance truck, which is capable of recharging batteries for stranded drivers of electric vehicles. AAA first announced the plan in June, and the first truck was shown on Monday at the Plug-In 2011 electric-vehicle conference in Raleigh, N.C. It uses Green Charge Networks technology and has a removable lithium-ion battery pack that allows for mobile charging.
Chrysler races to upgrade its lineup

The equipment, such as a Fiat dual-clutch, six-speed transmission and a new Chrysler V6, will boost fuel economy, improve driving dynamics and spiff up drab interiors, all areas in which Chrysler has fared poorly in consumer surveys. All the vehicles will be on sale by the first quarter of next year.
