Design Contest: Peugeot Design Contest 2007 winner announced
Wed, 21 Feb 2007The 'Flux' concept by Mihai Panaitescu, a Romanian design student studying in Turin, has been announced as the winning project in the fourth Peugeot Design Contest. The runners up in second and third places were 'Njooy' (Wesley Saikawa from Brazil), and 'Allscape' (Gustavo Ferrero from Venezuela). At 20 years old, Mihai is the youngest ever winner of the Peugeot Design Contest.

But fuzzy scans of the new BMW X6M and BMW X5M turned up on the web a couple of days ago, so it looks like BMW has decided to get the info out as soon as possible. Yes, it’s a rotten time to be bringing out a new, big 4×4, much less one with over 500bhp.
Wayne Cherry receives Lifetime Achievement Award at EyesOn Design 2013
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Renowned car designer Wayne Cherry was honored with a Lifetime Design Achievement Award at the EyesOn Automotive Design Exhibition at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House, Michigan. The former GM vice president of design was chosen by a panel of his fellow designers for the honor after a 42-year career with the carmaker, during which he was involved in the design of over 80 concepts and more than 90 production vehicles. Only vehicle designers who have previously won the award are allowed to vote, with this year's panel including Chris Bangle, Walter de'Silva, Tom Gale, Giorgetto Giugiaro, Chuck Jordan, Robert Lutz, Shiro Nakamura, Chuck Pelly, Sergio Pininfarina and Jack Telnack.
