Last week were were a little hasty and a little harsh. We got sent a set of photos of the Range Rover Evoque all dressed up in camouflage and ready to go out testing round the world. We ran a story questioning why on earth Land Rover would send out disguised Evoques when we’d already seen a production-ready Evoque – without disguise – at the party to celebrate 40 years of Range Rover.

The first photos of the Peugeot 2008 – an SUV / Crossover version of the new 208 – have arrived ahead of an official reveal next week. Peugeot’s new offering in the compact SUV sector is the Peugeot 2008 – a compact crossover version of the new 208 – which we saw first at the Beijing Motor Show last year as the Peugeot Urban Crossover Concept and now, ahead of an official reveal next week, we have the first official photos of the new 2008. So far, we have no real detail on what’s under the bonnet, but visually the production version of the 2008 seems little changed from the concept – which means a decent-looking offering for a competitive market place.

Suzuki has revealed the S-Cross crossover / SUV at the Paris Motor Show. The S-Cross will replace the SX4 and go on sale in 2013. The Suzuki S-Cross – a compact crossover come SUV – was teased ahead of its debut at Paris 2012 today, and a decent offering it looks.
