Nissan to offer zero-emissions e-NV200 commercial van in 2014

We all know that if there's one thing that delivery trucks like to do (UPS trucks excepted), it's to idle loudly in front of your home or office while filling the air with exhaust fumes as their drivers fill out paperwork on one of those metal pads. Scientific opinion around the world is split as to why delivery truck drivers do this, but one generally accepted explanation put forth by a group of Swiss scientists is that delivery truck drivers don't pay for their own fuel, and need to keep the radio on to listen to sports while filling out invoices. Well, Nissan is about to change all that, at least when it comes to eliminating the exhaust fumes generated by light commercial vehicles, with the introduction of the Nissan e-NV200 Zero Emission Van in the near future.

Perhaps sensing that it's at risk of going the way of the carbureted big-block and leaded gasoline, the United States Postal Service is apparently willing to try anything to boost its bottom line. Though we're sure its recently announced line of postal worker-inspired apparel will be a runaway (and runway) success, we're glad to see the USPS reaching out to the automotive-enthusiast community with a new set of limited-edition stamps that commemorate the American muscle car. Lexus GS-F to get LF-A V10

Lexus are said to be preparing a GS-F with the V10 from the LF-A (pictured) There have been rumours that Lexus are going to produce a range-topping GS-F for some time. But with car makers looking at downsizing and trying their best to stick smaller and more economical engines in its cars it seemed the possibility of an M5 competing Lexus GS were going nowhere soon. But according to Japan’s Best Car magazine that couldn’t be further from the truth.
