SPECIFICATIONS Forget using old towels and other insufficient means to transport mountain bikes with your truck's tailgate. Instead, equip your pickup with the premium padding of the Fox Racing Tailgate Cover before shuttling your friends for a rowdy descent of plunging downhills and snaking switchbacks. This padded tailgate cover comes in two sizes, with the smaller accommodating mid-sized pickups and the larger fitting most full-sized pickups. The smaller version transports five bikes while the larger carries six bikes total. Both are equipped with frame anchor straps and a flap for easy-access to your tailgate handle. ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Mon, 06 May 2013Volkswagen’s Spanish daughter company, Seat, has unveiled the new Leon Cup race car. Set to get a public airing at this week’s Woethersee fan meet in Austria, the new front-wheel drive hatchback runs a heavily tuned version of parent company Audi’s EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine developing about 325 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. In standard guise, drive is channeled through a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

We know that our girl Murilee Martin dug this up way back in 2010, but the wonder of the Ford T-Drive system is worth revisiting. According to Drivingenthusiast.com, “T-drive is a system consisting of a transversally located inline engine, a transmission and associated packaging.” The transmission is mounted to the side of the engine, or the back, depending on how you look at things.
