Furuno Color Lcd Radar - 1754c - Excellent Working Condition - 4kw Open Array on 2040-parts.com
Boca Raton, Florida, US
This mini-open array radar is actually a pretty cool little piece. Furuno doesn't make them anymore, but it's a very aesthetically pleasing radar for any small or even medium boat. This was a secondary radar on a large motoryacht that is being refit with all new Garmin 8000 series blackbox units. It is in excellent condition. There is one disclosure - you will not be able to hook up a Furuno GPS antenna to this unit. Unfortunately, when the unit was placed in the box with other units/cables upon deinstallation, the plastic housings of data port 1 and 2 were broken off. We attempted replacing them, and although we were able to get the new ones in, there is some connection issue that is causing at least port 1 not to work. Network port and data port 3 are still fine, so you can still use a sounder module, tie this into a Navnet network, or theoretically pipe in NMEA 0183 GPS info. from another unit through port 3.
However, I must emphasize that this is localized to that port and it has no bearing on the radar portion of the unit which functions perfectly. Most people that buy these are buying them either to add on to an existing navnet system or as a standalone radar so if either of those describes your needs, this is the system for you. The unit was flush mounted, so no mounting bracket is available.
Cosmetically, everything is in immaculate condition. The display has no paint flake/bubbling on the rear chassis, screen is clear and anti-glare coating intact. Radar pedestal and antenna were waxed monthly and in great shape, radar mount has some paint flake but it doesn't affect functionality.
It does include the head unit, power cable, radar cable (15 meters long), & radar with open array antenna with stand. We are also including a brand new infrared remote control for the unit, although not pictured, it is included.
One of the bolts that attaches the stand to the pedestal broke off during removal, we have not attempted removing the other 3. The other 3 are more than sufficient to hold the radar on the pedestal. The radar will be shipped with the antenna removed, we advise a small bead of white silicone to seal the rotary joint.
Shipping $60 in the CONUS, $115 to AK, HI, and other US territories, and $220 internationally.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

New Fiat Panda Cross is a rugged Panda 4×4 baby SUV
Tue, 18 Feb 2014The new Fiat Panda Cross (pictured) debuts at Geneva It might not be the top of everyone’s wish list as a baby SUV, but the Fiat Panda Cross has always been better than you’d imagine, and the latest Panda Cross – revealed ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show – looks even more able than the last Panda Cross and better looking too. The 2014 Fiat Panda Cross (although it will really be a 2015 model by the time it arrives in the UK) looks like a proper baby SUV thanks to its new front bumper with a satin titanium skid plate full of round cut-outs, new back bumper with skid plate, new lights, big wheel arches, roof bars and a new set of 15″ alloys (with ‘All Seasons’ 185/65R15 tyres), whilst the interior gets Climate, Blue&Me Infotainment and height-adjustable driver’s seat. The Panda Cross also gets proper baby SUV toys like automatic drive between the axles according to grip, torque control of individual wheels when off-road and hill descent control for controlled downhill descents.

Lamborghini Aventador hits 1,000
Fri, 20 Jul 2012The boys (and girls) in Bologna re celebrating the production of 1,000 Lamborghini Aventadors, just 15 months after production started. Italy has no money, and nor does most of Europe, but Supercars still sell even when they have a list price of £253,000 – and at a greater rate than ever before. That’s been brought sharply in to focus with the new that Lamborghini has delivered the 1,000th Aventador just 15 months after production started in Sant’ Agata – just half the time it took to sell the first 1,000 Murcielagos.
